A serial by Carmelo Pistorio
Beginning on the Solemnity of the Assumption · 15 August 2026
In the wake of my 60th birthday, and on the occasion of the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin, I am embarking on what is my most challenging project so far, and one which will hopefully prove to be the most important.
The Marian Era is a work of spiritual, philosophical, and historical argument. It reads modernity through the lens of the Blessed Virgin’s action in history, and argues — polemically, with the receipts — that every claim modernity makes for itself is Marian in genealogy.
The project begins on 15 August 2026, the Solemnity of the Assumption, and moves feast by feast through the year to come. The pilot manifesto is free to read. Most chapters will sit behind a small paywall; each will open in public.
